The historical, quiet town of Holašovice has survived plagues, wars and neglect for centuries, yet it has managed to retain its charm and its unique South Bohemian Folk Baroque architectural style. It is very rarely frequented by many travelers or tourists, making it the perfect way to escape Prague and see the quieter side of the Czech Republic. Plus, the Hluboka Castle, one of the most beautiful in Europe, is a 'must-see'.
