Český Krumlov offers spectacular views from high above the town, within the castle walls, as well as from below, walking among the quaint shops and galleries. On this small group tour you and your travel companions will travel in the comfort and luxury of a private transfer from Prague to Český Krumlov, through the beautiful Czech countryside. Upon arrival in Český Krumlov, you will have a tour of the Český Krumlov Castle with an English speaking guide, with the chance to climb the tower and see the whole town. Following the tour, you will enjoy a delicious, traditional 2-course lunch including a drink in one of the best restaurants in the town. There will be some free time to enjoy the lovely, winding streets before the journey back. On the way back, you will stop in Hluboka, one of the most historically notable and remarkable Romantic monuments in Europe and the world.

See the magic of South Bohemia, from royal castles and towers to small cobblestone streets and charming shops and restaurants. This Český Krumlov day tour will leave you spellbound and captivated. Český Krumlov is the most popular day trip from Prague and when you go you’ll know why. It’s as if you have stepped into the pages of a fairy tale and at any moment you could come upon a poor maiden, ready to be saved by a noble prince who will whisk her away to the castle on the cliff, overlooking the red-roof lined town. The Vltava River (the same which eventually flows north to Prague), flows through the city at a melodic pace and over several small weirs and has carved the town into a peculiar shape which almost resembles a puzzle piece.

- Upon arriving in Český Krumlov you will go on a guided walking tour of the 13th century castle that sits high above the city, seeming to have grown out of the rocks on which it stands.
- For those who do not have a fear of heights, we suggest climbing the Renaissance tower in the castle. It is worth the 162 step trip up, leaving you at 86 meters (282 feet) above the Vltava River.
- Take some time to enjoy lunch overlooking the river and watching the rafters as they sail past, down the lazy river.

I highly recommend seeing Cesky Krumlov to anyone who is in the Czech Republic. It was the most beautiful town you've ever seen. It's a long day if you do it in a one day trip from Prague, but it was very much worth it. Plus on the trip there and back we could see the Czech countryside, which I was surprised was as beautiful as it was. The whole tour was very well organized and we didn't feel in a rush ever. The guide was excellent and really sweet.
